The IWP International Conference 2018 will take place at Sheffield University Management School between the 19th and 21st June.
Hosted by the Institute of Work Psychology, Sheffield University Management School, the biennial conference is now in its sixth year. Each past event has welcomed over 150 delegates from across 36 countries.
Our internationally recognised conference focuses on sharing research and theoretical contributions from all areas of work and organisational psychology, with particular focus on the areas of work, wellbeing and performance. We invite high quality submissions in all areas of work, applied social, organisational, industrial, occupational and vocational psychology and in the related fields of organisational behaviour and human resource management.
We pride ourselves on creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, which allows many of our friends and colleagues from across our discipline and related areas to come together to network, share and develop high quality research, as well as allowing them to develop new research projects and find new collaborative partners.
As in previous years, there will be a full programme of events including:

- Keynote speakers
- Conference dinner

Paper submissions open: 9th October 2017
Deadline for paper submission: 7th December 2017
Notification of paper acceptance: Before end of February 2018
Registration for the conference opens Immediately after paper acceptance
Deadline for early bird conference registration: 31st March 2018
Deadline for all conference registration: 12th June 2018
The conference will be held at Sheffield University Management School, which is located near Sheffield city centre, with good connections from the train station and many hotels. It is also only a short bus journey to the gorgeous Peak District National Park. Sheffield’s central location also makes it particularly accessible, with easy access to the Eurostar and all major UK airports.
